Summary: I just shot a roll pushed to 800iso. I was shooting action sports in poor light conditions. I wanted that raw, grainy B&W feel hence pushing it to 800. I should have pushed it further, perhaps 1000 or even 1600. At 800 I hardly see any difference from 400.
If you are an advancing photographer and don´t know what to do with you APS equipment, especially when you buy those medium format cams and get used to that pic quality. Here´s what you should do: Keep advantix black and white on pile and use your APS as your standard B&W equipment. Strengths: Fine Grain,
Great latitude, very pushable. Weaknesses: Needs underexposure to give really dark shadows.
Somewhat greyish Similar Products Used: 35 mm B&W All advantix and nexia films.
