Kodak Super Wide-Angle Lens

Don't base your purchase soley on my review. The lens I bought was the .65x wide angle. This lens is specifically designed for the Kodak DC-4800 Camera, however since it had 43mm threads I thought it should work for any camera w/ 43mm threads. Not so. I tried using this lens on my Olympus C-2040, and did not have satisfactory results. Every picture taken had its edges fuzzy/out-of-focus, and the distortion seemed to be too much for the equivilant focal length. Forget about using your built-in flash: always a dark spot in the lower corner (could be common w/ all add-on lenses). Was very dissappointed, but since it wasn't specifically designed for my camera, then that should be taken into account. Perhaps Kodak users would find this to be and excellent lens.

Lightweight!!! Much lighter than most wide angle lenses out there. Very good price. Probably works great on the specific Kodak camera it's designed for

Didn't work on Olympus C-series cameras: very fuzzy/out-of-focus on the edges. Too much distortion. Plastic threads could easily be damaged.
