Price Paid:  $5.00 from ebay, B&H Photo

Summary:

This is a great creative film. If you push it you'll be able to get some interestign shots with it in new places. Overall this film is a lot more cooler then any daylight slide film. Neons and refelctions on the skin tone come out pretty sweet on these slides.

Strengths:

Cooler colors then any daylight slide film with no need of special filters (80A). This film produces some great effects. I usually shoot it pushed 2 stops. Since I shoot a lot of avaliable light night photography this film is awesome. I wouldn't recommend the 320T pushed for nightscapes thouhg. If you're thinking of shooting night scpaes you'd be better off with the 64T or the 160T kodak makes. Overall this film is a great product.

Weaknesses:

Pricey, ... scans OK.. (E200 - but daylight film - scans a LOT better)

Customer Service:

Website could be a little bit more helpful with Techincal info... it lacks it severly on some porducts.

Review 2 of 2

Summary:

I shoot a lot of theatre photos and since I'm also a lighting designer I prefer to use available light. I have found this film very useful to get good colours, that match the subjective appearance of the actors on stage. Needs an f/2.8 or better lens though - I use Canon 50/1.4, 28-70/2.8L and 70-200/2.8L. Grain is quite acceptable for the work I do.

Strengths:

Speed enough for shooting theatre in available light.

Color rendition adapted to the halogen bulbs used.

Weaknesses:

Expensive.
