Review 1 of 3

Summary:

This is my standard lens. I give all my confidence to this bicause it makes "always" a picture "as I wish." From wide open to small aperture, the main subject is always sharp enough (resolution is assured of course from edge to edges but it knows a discretion) and appealing, standing clearly out from its background. The touch is fully controlable. Good for both colour and monochrome photo. I don't recommend it as far as you are satisfied with a zoom lens (even with a high speed one). Buy and try it when you know how important is a touch control.

Strengths:

an excellent lens which makes "always" a satisfactory photo as I wish in "any" situation

Weaknesses:

a heavy and expensive lens for those who are satisfied with a zoom lens (even with a high speed one)

Similar Products Used:

* Leica Sumilux 35mm/f1.4 (fine but expensive)
* Voigtlander Ultron 35mm/f1.7 (super buy !)
* Canon EF 35mm/f1.4 (fine but voluminous and expensive)

Customer Service:

none
