from Bel-Air Camera Summary: I have owned this lens since 1995. It's a remarkably versatile lens that gives you great freedom in that its focal ranges cover a multitude of situations. Very sharp images, light weight, solidly built. Strengths: Sharp, Lightweight, Versatile, Excellent quality construction. A great choice for travelers or families/photographers who want to carry fewer lenses but be ready to respond to a variety of shooting applications requiring different focal lengths. Weaknesses: None as far as the lens is concerned. It however you want to shoot portraits, or into a crowd, you may want a longer lens.
I am presently considering the new 24-105mm Minolta AF lens. Similar Products Used: Nikon 6000s with 28-70mm lens. Both lenses are of excellent quality. Customer Service: No need for it yet and it's been 7 years.
