Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

The ideal wildlife-safari lens. Excellent balance, best aperture fully open, even with 1.4x or 2x extender. I''ve even used both extenders together (NOT recommended by Leica!!) to create a 800 mm lens with very good results! In my opinion no other lens even gets close to the results this one produces.Worth buying a Leica R8 for!

Strengths:

Highest possible image quality, very fast and precise internal focussing, general quality and strength

Weaknesses:

This lens as a zoom would be perfect (but the Vario-Elmar 105-280 isn''t to be sneezed at!)

Customer Service:
