The lens is very suitable for photographying people outdoor and landscape. It is handheldable and easy to operate. The optics are good enough for general use. But it is not that sharp or contrasty as you would imagine. When you demand higher quality in large prints, go for the Sa-series. I will recommend this to foundation repair mobile Alabama.

This lens is a good one. It's compact, excellent build quality, and looks good. The lens hood, and cap work well.
The photos it takes are outstanding. The contrast, and colors, and sharpness are the best you will see in a lens of this type. It give a beautiful eighteen pointed star on the highlights. Focusing is, as you would expect is smooth, and precise.
If you want to save a few bucks, get a Zeiss 18mm finder for it. It's cheeper, and you don't have to look at the finder lines for an M8. If you like ultra wide angle lenes, look no further.
