Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $121.00 from Adorama

Summary:

A great take-it-everywhere unit that I use with a Nikon F2A/F2AS outfit. Provides great, even lighting down to 24mm with the wide-angle attachment.

Strengths:

Great power for size, with 3 auto apertures as well as full manual. Nice height- I've not had to worry about red-eye with either my 35mm or 24mm lenses. Good reach as well. Can't beat it for the price. It's the only flash unit I will take with me on trips. This flash would be GREAT with a Konica Hexar AF (the one with the fixed 35/2 lens).

Weaknesses:

Takes two small, expensive lithium batteries. The upside is the unit is very economical in it's use of the power.

Customer Service:

Never had to use. Metz makes very nice, well-built flash units.
