Summary:

This is a marvellous lens for outdoor photography with 4X5.

Strengths:

Remarkably compact and light, uses a 52 mm filter. Excellent sharpness and all round image definition. Inexpensive. Can be left on some cameras even folded.

Weaknesses:

Not really a weakness, but the image circle is not large enough to permit extensive movements on 4x5. Plenty for landscape however.

Summary:

Excellent value and a great all-around lens for field work, landscape, product shots, and anything else.

Strengths:

Compact, sharp, extremely clear. Great field lens. Adequate coverage for 4x5. It was my first of 6 lenses, & one of the best.

Weaknesses:

Not enough coverage if you like a lot of movements
