Price Paid: $15.00 from Second Hand Market

Summary:

Hello i am an aspiring photographer and i was walking with my mom to catch the train to the local zoo to take some pictures when we saw this market we walked up looked a round and left then i saw a second half something told me to stop i did and there it was i bought and thought it was perfect for me and for only 15 bucks i bought quicker than my mother could hand me the money we didnt go to the zoo we went straight home snapping some shots on the way perfect for the type of pictures i take. PLEASE EMAIL ME INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL IF YOU HAVE THEM AT KAHLIL@LIVE.COM

Strengths:

Small,Neck Strap included, low price, high quality pictures you should go out and get one if you dont have one

Summary:

I was on the look-out for an Olympus Zuiko 35-70mm zoom lens to go on my OM-10. I checked on eBay and soon found the lens - sold together with an OM-20. I made the purchase. I already had some experience with the famous OM-10 (and the legendary Trip-35) - so I knew I couldn't go far wrong with another Olympus. And it proved right! The OM-20 is even smaller and lighter than the OM-10 - and has several refinements over the OM-10, such as the much improved viewfinder display, more managable controls, sturdier film speed/exposure compensation dial and no need for that wretched manual adaptor thing! Other than that it can do everything that the OM-10 can. To put it simply, the OM-20 is about as good as amateur manual SLR cameras ever got! It was perhaps the last of the manual greats. I have done all sorts of photography with the OM-20 - out-door architectural, indoor flash and macro work. No trouble whatsoever! When used with a Zuiko lens and a steady hand/tripod - you will obtain breathtakingly sharp pictures time after time.

Strengths:

Light, small, simple, no-nonsense, no gimmicks.

Weaknesses:

None that I can think of for the type of photography I do.

Summary:

Its an amateur body camera like the om2n but without otf flash metering. It has a plastic top and bottom which makes the camera feel deceptively cheap and less rugged than the pro body om2. In 3 years of ownership i have never had a problem with the camera. it has a steel chassis and its built to cope with a 5 frame per second power winder so I think long term reliability shouldnt be a problem. its a nice handsome camera that has the benefit of both aperture auto and full manual. on the downside, the mirror slap is nowhere near as quiet as the om single digit cameras. its basic and simple which is ok by me

Strengths:

zuiko lenses, handy led meter readout, otf metering on auto, aperture priority auto and manual, economical silver oxide batteries, reliable, good for general photography

Weaknesses:

fixed focus screen, loud and jarring mirror slap!, not suited to macro work

Summary:

I bought my OM-G in 1984. It has been a great little camera. It is a very reliable camera. I expect it to operate for many more years.

Strengths:

It is fairly small and lightweight true to the Olympus OM cameras. I have been able to purchase some very nice Zuiko lenses on the used market at bargain prices.

Weaknesses:

I haven''t encountered any yet.

Summary:

I started loving photography thanks to this great basic and easy to use camera, I´d had never needed the users manual until now. Before the OM G I knew nothing about photograpy, all what I have learned have been with It and had given me hundreds of good shots, It has recorded my vacations, University career, wedding (Mine and brother of mine), child borning and grewing.

Strengths:

Small size,lightweight and ergonomics, this marvel is a reliable workhorse. It was my first SLR, I´ve using it since 1992 and it had never failed after 3.000 shots both print and slides. Also the kind of batteries it uses are low priced and easy to find.

Weaknesses:

non interchangeable screens nor back. no TTL flash AND!!! too low flash sinch specially for fill.
