Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $295.00 from Beach Camera

Summary:

This diminuative camera is quit complete with all the bells and whistles you would want. It has many adjustments to personalize the settings to your specigications.
The LED screen is bright and 2" wideX11/4" high. Most of the functions are accessed via the many screens. The functions that determine type of images photographed are by a small wheel with detents at each mode that is ergonomically place under the right thumb.
All functions including framing, flash, images taken, speed and a histogram are available at the touch of a button.
It is extremely light and pocketable. The battery will last for 300+ images and a 1 Gig smartcar will hold over 300 images at a 6 mg resolution.
The camera comes with all cords and a charger but no external smart card.

Strengths:

Size and weight and unobtrusiveness are valuable features. The ability to silence the shutter and function beeps is very useful. One can over and underexpose up to 2 stops and manually set white balance. It also had the ability to record, with sound, a 10 minute movie sequence. The imagestabilizer is quite effective and can be turned off and on if desired.

Weaknesses:

The large LED is washed out in bright sunlight in spite of increasing the gain of the Led. No smart card is included in purchase package. The instruction book is well laid out but somewhat confusing to a beginner. All functions are listed in the index.
