Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Panasonic 16 MB SD card:

I have owned this memory card for over two years, but have taken only a handful of photos with it. Why? See the "Disadvantages" section of my review.

Strengths:

Relatively fast at transferring and writing data. (But not as much as my other Panasonic SD card).

Sturdy.

Weaknesses:

VERY small storage capacity! Here are some statistics:
(Tested with a Panasonic FZ7K).

Photos: 6 megapixels, high-quality JPGs, 4:3 aspect ratio.
Videos: VGA, 4:3 aspect ratio.

#1. 4 photos--SD card full.
OR
#2. 6 seconds of video--SD card full.
OR
#3. 2 photos and 3 seconds of video--SD card full.

Panasonic: You should bundle larger-capacity memory cards with purchases of digital cameras or camcorders. I recently read that you are now not including ANY memory card at all!

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Panasonic 1 GB High Speed SD card.

NOTE:
This review is based on the product’s performance with a panasonic DMC-FZ7K.
--------------------------------------------------------------

I have used this memory card for exactly 2 years.

Over 20,000 photos and 100+ videos have been recorded. (And counting).

Strengths:

This particular SD card is quite fast, especially when taking pictures. Even full-resolution TIFF files transfer pretty quickly.

I have never had a movie stop while recording.

It is also reliable and sturdy. (It was dropped on the floor once). I haven’t lost a single photo or video from it yet.

This memory chip also works on every device with a card reader that I have access to. (Digital frame, pocket card reader, other camera, PC’s).

Weaknesses:

None so far.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

The Panasonic Secure Digital Memory Card has been one of the best purchases I've made in a while. It's amazing. It will revolutionize the way I use my audio and visual equipment, especially my digital camera. It's large capacity and fast access, along with a compact design, make it very appealing for a wide range of products and applications. It's compatible for an increasing variety of content types and stores its information in a flash memory. This allows it to be re-written pretty much 25 times daily for ten years! The SD card is the new storage media. I recommend it to anyone who is looking to increase the productivity and efficieny of their visual equipment or any other electronic device.
