    Review 1 of 2

    Price Paid:  $169.00 from ???

    Summary:
I was given this camera in Nov 2001 as a gift. In June 2002 the monitor broke, then the camera would not turn back on, I sent it to Pentax for repair and it was sent back in Aug 2002. Same problem in Nov 2002, March 2003, July 2003 and Oct 2003. FINALLY Pentax sent me a Optio 230- I hope this one is better

    Strengths:
    none- never worked long enough

    Weaknesses:
besides the fact that it won't ever turn on- I never got past that

    Similar Products Used:
    Nikon Cool Pix

    Customer Service:
after 2 years on constant repairs I finally got a new camera- thank you Art in customer service!!!!

    Review 2 of 2

    Price Paid:  $136.00 from Ubid

    Summary:
My first Digicam. Well I got this camera for Ebay stuff, and it works great for that, but the lack of a zoom really doesn''t work w/ only 1.3 MP. you have to be 8 feet or less from you subject, or it gets pixel-y which is OK as the flash is only good for about that distance. at $136 it''s a fair deal, but I would speand the extra and get a zoom.

    Strengths:
    small and compact, Macro mode

    Weaknesses:
no zoom, flash is a little weak

    Similar Products Used:
    1st digital
