from Fotocats Summary: A very well put together compact digital camera! I was going to buy the S4i but the S40 is a lot cheaper with exactly the same features. It also takes normal AA size batteries which make it ideal for people on the move. Quality is high and I easily get sharp A3 size prints.
Not the quickest of cats but a good everyday compact! Strengths: VERY GOOD build quality, better than S4i.
AA batteries.
Compact.
Sexy design.
Lots of features.
Big zoom. Weaknesses: Not very quick in low light conditions.
Flash takes time to charge, longer than most. Similar Products Used: Fuji finepix and HP cameras. Customer Service: Not tested!
