Summary:
I received this camera as a gift. I enjoyed using this camera for the last 5 years. I gave it to my parents last year because they no longer had a decent camera for travel. Also I had obtained better camera gear myself and no longer needed it. I never had any serious problems with it. The film occationally didn't load the first try, but this was minor. Most likely caused by improper positioning of the film. I liked the simple controls for exposure and flash compensation. I never had a problem with the flash that another reviewer mentioned. I also don't recall red eye being a problem. The pictures were sharp and looked nice. About what I would expect for this level of camera, good, not very good or excellent. Battery life was pretty good. Mine also had date option.

Strengths:
Nice pictures. Good zoom range. Compact. Never failed, had no problems. Good battery life.

Weaknesses:
NIce pictures but not great. But I've become spoiled with SLR lenses.

Summary:
I am not very happy at all with this camera. The red eye reduction does not work. All my subjects have a deep red eyes. I focus and shoot, it takes forever for the flash to go off and I miss my photo opportunity. When loading the film it never catches the first time, you have to try three and four times before the film is loaded correctly.

Weaknesses:
red eye reduction does not work. It is very difficult to load. The pictures are not very clear. Red eye reduction is terrible. This product is not worth the price.
