from Jessops UK (£100) Summary: This is almost indistinguishable from the Sigma 24mm f2.8 which is no longer available. It is clearly of the same materials and its optics are identical. Quantaray have done this with several 'old Sigma' lenses. This is in no way bad because the optics are incredibly sharp for the money.
NOTE the grindy chewy motor is perfectly normal, although its probable the long term wear and tear of this kind of motor, as opposed to 'newer' quiter ones is adverse to the life of the workings. I have yet to experience anything like that sort of problem though. Strengths: Incredibly Sharp (photodo 4.2 out of 5, Small, Lightweight fairly sturdy build also. Weaknesses: Slow AF, Commonly Loud Grindy Motor (normal for the rubberized Sigma/Quantaray of this range and as one user already stated its not a high speed/wildlife lens so who cares :D ) Similar Products Used: Quant/Sigma 18mm f3.5, Cosina 19-35mm Customer Service: Sigma UK were amazing, they put me in contact with the only dealer who sells the exact hood for this lens. A*
