Strength:

Clear pictures, good for action shots and a lot of effects my new Nikon doesn't have. Many different settings and easy-to-use. It's a hardy camera with a not-to-bright flash. Small and lightweight. Fairly quick to take a picture and the camera certainly is great for the price. It has a timer, effects, crop, zoom, video, and much more. It also has good battery life.

Weakness:

Not great video, becomes blurry without flash,, and not good settings for snow. This camera sometimes has trouble turning on and it only came with a charger to plug into my laptop. The charger cord was short.

I bought a blue Samsung SL202 for amateur photography. I have had this camera for about 4 years, and it has served me well. It's great for action shots AND still shots. Very high quality and satisfying for the price. It's great for amateur photography or just pictures. It has fair zoom and maybe 10 minutes on video. Not ideal for those looking to have good video on the camera. My SL202 has suffered being dropped on cement and wood and tile many times, but it still works and is a very hardy camera. It rarely has problems. I am very happy with this camera and would recommend it to people looking for a simple nice camera. I recently got a Nikon P100 to become more serious in my photography and my Samsung still beats the Nikon in some points.

Customer Service

Great, satisfying. I love nearly everything about this camera but it is not recommended for professional photographers. Customer service is good.

Similar Products Used:

Kodak M590. The SL202 is not as blurry and quicker to take shots. I also have a Nikon P100 and it is normally finer than the SL202, as it is a $330 camera, but the SL202 is better in some parts.

Bad bad bad... I have read that it has great picture quality, but since I have only managed to use it 4 times before the shutter stop working correctly, I can not appreciate of confirm that...
SO back it went to Samsung via Best buy for repair, and then when I get it back and go to use it, is now doesn't charge. So another trip to Best Buy, and another send out to repair.. still waiting
