from Frys Electronics Summary: This is an excellent camcorder.
the important points to know are:
1) It's light so its easy to pack, carry and use.
2) It's digital....the pictures are significantly better than my JVC S-VHS camcorder
3) The tapes are very reusable with no artifacts that I have found
4) The batteries last for the full hr and half for the BT-H22 and the 3 hrs for the BT-H32, unlike most camcoreders where you are lucky to get 80% of the mfg.'s advertised battery time
5) The quality is very good-There are no little external pieces, parts, buttons, etc. to break or bend...it is very well designed
6) The quality of the picture is very good-at 660,000 pixels it is almost as good as my Sony Digital camera
7) It is totally quiet....great for candid shots...don't interrupt the party-be part of it
8) The LCD screen swivels so it is very comfortable to shoot movies
9) It is very well balanced-it fits and works nicely on a tripod
10) The on board memory and displays are very user friendly
This is my 4th camcorder and by far the best. I look forward to using it and due to it's small size I find I am taking it places I never would have taken my other camcorders. (Fishing, camping, I even took it skiing!) Strengths: See Above Weaknesses: None I have found yet Similar Products Used: Jvc Camcorders (3 of them -various model #'s) Customer Service: Haven't needed them yet
