Summary:
Great camera with very good optics and excellent picture results given its incredible small size. Much fun to use. Since I bought it I carry it always with me. May be not a replacement for a bigger camera, but a very nice alternative for those situations where you don't want to carry much stuff with you. Despite some weaknesses I like this camera very much (I do own three other digital cameras and several analog cameras including medium format).

Strengths:
Good picture quality with sharp 3-times optical zoom. Smallest size and lowest weight of all cameras I ever had. Very fast startup - instantly ready to shoot. Efficient camera control through simple menus. Very big and bright LCD display. Great macro function allowing for surpising new perspectives. Very rugged metal housing with elegant looks.

Weaknesses:
Short battery life (50 min only), need to buy a second rechargeable battery (expensive). Camera closing lid/switch tends to open itself when carring the camera shorting further battery life. Flash only usable as fill in, indoor I get many red-eyes. Not very sensitive in low light situations, limited ASA range. No optical view finder (maybe one cannot expect this given the size) - but I have some difficulties to use the LCD in bright sunlight. Also I had to learn how to hold the camera, fingers come easily into the way of the lens. Weak software, not at the level of the otherwise brillianty executec camera design. No built-in panoramic picture support which I like at my Canon's. Special adaptors needed for USB cable and tripod connection (also a consequence of the small size).
