Strength:

Waterproof.
Tough.
Comfortable.
Spacious main compartment.

Weakness:

Fiddly to get gear in/out of (same as any backpack).
Outer pockets are not waterproof - so pack carefully!
Not much space for non-photographic gear.
Pocket for hydration pack would be nice.

Living in Britain, I wanted a bag that would really protect my gear in the wet, and be very comfortable to carry, so as soon as Lowepro announced this bag, I had one on order.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this bag, it takes all my gear including my Sigma 300/2.8 with ease, has an excellent and comfortable harness and a neat tripod holder.

Disadvantages? Well, like most backpacks it can be fiddly getting gear in/out of, and laying it down on wet grass means a wet back! Personally I don't find the extra 'dry' zip any hassle, althugh it pays to give it a clean and lubricate it now and again.

Sometimes I would like more space to carry non-photographic gear, like waterproofs, lunch, etc., but overall this does the job well. I'm looking at the Dryzone Rover anyway for longer hikes where more non-photo stuff needs to be carried.

Only rating 4 stars for value, because it is quite pricey.

Strength:

The waterproof feature is great. The bag is thickly padded so I don't worry when I toss it in the back of the car. The color is great and easy to find. The bag fits my 5' 4" figure great

Weakness:

The zipper needs to be longer. The tripod would be better suited on the side of the bag like the Trekker bag I have. This is not a bag that you can get into quickly. The Trekker bags are much faster. Overall the bag is wonderufl though.

Excellent bag with ample size for all my equipment. I purchased this bag after purchasing the Lowepro Pro Trekker AW on the internet and found the bag was too big for me. The size of the 200 bag is just perfect. I love the bright color and it is easy to find.
