Strength:

It really protects equipment well.

Weakness:

The pack alone weighs more than 5 pounds. One of the shoulder straps broke while I was hiking in Yosemite. It makes a lot of noise.

I now use mine for equipment storage. I have a lot of backpacking experience, and this pack doesn't measure up to the standards of modern backpacks. When I really loaded it up (Nikon F5, F100, 8 lenses, extension tubes, Gitzo, lunch, etc.), it did not balance well. I was also amazed at how much noise it made; walking with this pack produced a constant squeak squeal sound that was very annoying. Ultimately it turned out not to be very durable, so I retired it and went back to carrying my equipment in a lightweight shoulder bag inside my NorthFace backpack.

Strength:

Hold's a lot of gear
Easy to customize
Comfortable
Will fit on all carryon flights

Weakness:

A bit heavy.

I really like this bag. It will hold my camera body, flash, a 28-135, 20-35, 70-200, and a 300 lens. (Barely).

It is a bit heavy, but the padding is nice and I find it easier to carry all that gear on a 5-10 mile trek.

I love the fact that I never have once been questioned about it at an airport. Slides right in. The photo-trekker is borderline.

I took all the extra do-dads off it and it is wonderful for my use. I would reccommend it!

Model Reviewed: Nature Trekker AW Camera Backpack

Strength:

Very sturdy construction and water proof.

If you are thinking of carrying this pack for a long time then the harness is also very comfortable for extended periods

Weakness:

The zipper opening is a pain and there are no pockets to carry things like a jumper or a rain coat.

The pack it self is also very heavy which means when you fill it up with a couple of cameras, lenses and a tripod it can be over 10kg.

The tripod carrier is very useful but gets in the way of opening the pack. It can also be quite dangerous if you are in a crowded subway with a tripod attached to the back

Great pack but you have to be serious to carry this sort of weight around constantly. If your not then it is an over kill.

Model Reviewed: Nature Trekker AW Camera Backpack

Strength:

Holds equipment safely, readjustable compartments. Lots of pockets for misc. stuff.

Weakness:

It can be difficult to unzip, as I have to use two hands to keep zipper opening.

Rather expensive backpack bag, but it's worth knowing my more expensive equipment is safe.

Customer Service

No problems.
