    Strength:

The harness system is well made and comfortable. Plenty of room . Good materials in construction. Well thoughtout design.

    Weakness:

    None so far !

Although I have only had this pack for1.5 months and only taken it out 3 times, it holds all my gear and still has room for more. It may be a little heavy for some users. It is well made and comfortable once it is adjusted to fit you ,which is'nt hard to do. I have not been caught in the rain yet . It may be customized to fit your needs with optional add ons. If you have a need for a large backpack with lots of room , then you may consider this one or something similar.

    Strength:

Construction, fit and comfort are great. Lots of unique features, and lots of options for customizing it to fit your gear. It comes with a removeable daypack that attaches to the front of the pack, which will fit non photo gear such as a jacket, hydration pack, etc.

    Weakness:

Some of their larger backpacks have a zippered flap for covering the harness (shoulder straps and waist belt) and it would be nice to have on this one as well. This would be handy for flying with it or even just working out of the trunk of your car. Other than a couple of flat pockets inside and outside the cover, there are no good places to put accessories other than padded compartments inside the pack. They are very well protected there, but a couple of side pockets would be handy. The attached daypack adds depth to it, so it can be awkward.

I don't use this bag often, but it's nice to have it when I need it. It will hold a ton of gear, easily including a 300 f2.8. Lowe has been known for building great backpacks for outdoor use for years, so it's no surprise that the construction of the bag and comfort of the harness are excellent. The built-in full rain cover is a nice thing to have, although it would have to be raining pretty hard before it would be entirely necessary - the bag is pretty rain-proof on it's own. The tripod holder fits my Gitzo 1228 perfectly although a much larger tripod might not work so well. Being a backpack, it's probably most suited to nature photography, but it can work well for travel photography as well.

Haven't needed it - which is a big plus!
