Tamrac 5770 Velocity 10x Backpacks

Tamrac 5770 Velocity 10x Backpacks

The Velocity 10x - Pro Sling Pack is the largest version of our popular sling packs. It holds one or two pro-sized DSLRs with lenses attached, additional lenses and a flash. Inside the main compartment, the cameras with lenses attached are suspended on two vertical, foam-padded dividers that are internally reinforced with rigid plastic. The Velocity 10x can be carried comfortably like a backpack, but when swung around to the front, the secure zippered Quick Flip Top opens away from the body for fast and convenient access to camera gear. A well-padded sling strap comfortably distributes the weight, but need not be removed to quickly access photo equipment. A Tuck-A-Way waist belt allows the Velocity 10x to be used comfortably during vigorous activities such as hiking or biking. The front pocket has organizer pockets inside to keep a mobile phone, PDA or photo accessories within easy reach. It also features Tamrac's US-patented Memory & Battery Management System that uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up. A pocket inside the lid stores filters and lens caps. Customize this sling pack with Tamrac's Modular Accessory System components.

The bag itself is well constructed.

Overpriced and not as roomy as advertised.

I'm really disappointed in the room available. It doesn't really fit my one body and three lenses and a flash. If I carried to bodies, I wouldn't have room. This is the biggest Velocity they make, and the diagrams that show how all the equipment fits in the bag are plain inaccurate and misleading.
I also can't stand that the bottom of the bag is not flat, so things roll around from the compartment I put them in to the middle of the bag.
