Strength:

Very durrable, I have dropped it a few times down rock faces and no serious damage to the bag and the camera have been sustained.

Weakness:

Not water/weather proof. Took me a day of it in a warm area to dry out the bag after a wet day, thankfully, the camera didn't get wet, so that's good.

Looking for a case for my Fuji S5100 w/ the WL-FX9 lens, I need something very close to a DSLR case. This worked perfectly for fitting my lens and my camera perfectly, and very nice padding.

Strength:

Carrys a lot without being too bulky.

Weakness:

Probably not weatherproof - then again if that is a concern, look at the more expensive TLZ AW.

This is a nice bag that offers very adequate space for the essentials and more while still providing the convenience of a top load design. Combined with a larger gadget bag to house all of your stuff, this works well for carrying the equipment you need for a day trip. It can easily carry my Minolta 800si (a big body) with my Tamron 28-200 in the top and my separate Tokina 19-35 in the bottom and a couple of rolls of film. Well padded too. I've never used the belt loops as the shoulder strap is convenient.

Strength:

Lightweight. Reverse opening top for convenience. Good size. Handy front pocket. Looks good.

Weakness:

The padding on the shoulder strap could be better. Top cover zips are slightly tight.

A stylish, lightweight holster bag with good carrying capacity. I was able to fit my Minolta 600si + VC600 grip + Tamron 28-80 zoom. Even the above body/grip + Minolta 70-210 f4 fits OK!

Strength:

Strong Cordura exterior, well-padded interior. The supports holding the SLR body in place have loops to hold a film canister - nice touch.

Weakness:

Won''t stand up to a soaking in rain or snow. Front pocket has no padding, so be sure your filters are in their hard cases if you store them there.

This is a great holster bag for a small-to midsize SLR body and a compact zoom lens. I was able to squeeze an N65+MB17 grip and a 70-300mm ED lens into the main compartment, and a full-size flash into the front pocket. It''s sturdy, rugged and well-padded.

Model Reviewed: Topload Zoom 2 Holster Bag

Strength:

-Very well padded
-Rugged Construction

Weakness:

-No weather cover

I bought this bag to protect my camera while hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, etc. It does a fine job with My N6006 with Tamron 28-200 attached. I also carry a smaller lens in the bag as well. The front pocket doesn't hold very much, but there's another compartment in the lid for filters/cable releas/film. If you want a small bag for just enough gear on outdoor trips I'd recommend this bag. It also attaches to backpack straps pretty easily so your gear can be handy for those moments when you need to get your camera up quickly.

Strength:

Holsters are my favorite small bag. Dense foam padding.

Weakness:

Needs an internal skirt for better dust protection.

Well-constructed, sturdy bag. I wish it had better dust protection.
