Strength:

Well constructed. Durable material. Easy access to side zipper for cell phone/or airline tix. The umbrella/small monopod holder a plus. Like the breifcase appearance that doesn't scream out "camera bag"...very useful in places like NYC. The newer model (P415 CS I think) has an additional strap that fits over your luggage iwth telescopic carrying handles...and additional zipper on the back pocket, great for your important papers. The expandable depth is handy for doubling capacity...essential for cameras with motor drives. The optional backpack harness is a nice addition if you prefer not to carry it like a briefcase or shoulder bag.

Weakness:

The expanded inserts don't fit quite right. The zipper top (PEIZT-13) had to be returned since the tight fit makes it impossible to open or close the zipper top with ease. I use the open top instead (PEI-13), still a tight fit, but there's easier access to your gear when you need it. I've spoken to Tenba about it, and was told they're going to make the inserts a tad smaller. Hopefully it'll still fit a 35mm body horizontally.

The website and brochure has errors in it when it comes to the dimensions of the Expanded Inserts, making my experience for this bag unecessarily painful.

Well constructed. Top notch craftsmanship. If interest in the P415, make sure you shop locally not by mail or internet. Calumet has the newer version, B&H doesn't always, it's a crap shoot with them. The P513 is the leather trimmed version with perhaps an additional feature, but about $25 more. Samy's camera in L.A. carries the P415 and P513 with the computer insert instead of the smaller photo insert....Why????

Customer Service

Eventually Tenba agreed to make an exchange at the Photo Expo in L.A., since the retailer (B&H) would no longer exchange after 2 weeks. I traded the PE!ZT-13 for the PEI-13 plus the Harness, for some additional money. I had to pay the difference at their MSRP, with a small discount. Still, had the brochure been right, and the inserts fit properly, I would've saved money and time.

Strength:

Exc. construction. Expandable. Easy access. Easy closures to operate(unlike Domke)Not to padded not to underpadded. Holds F5 with 80-200 mounted horizontally like I like it. Still room for tons of other stuff. Not to flashy. Without expandable insert(just the one it comes with)holds alot of stuff but looks like a book bag, brief case. Overall I love this bag.

Weakness:

Should have the zippered closure like some of the other Tenba bags. Rains in Miami alot and comes up suddenly and your stuff can get wet.

Excellent. Quality. Reasonable pricing.

Customer Service

never needed it. Bags are really nicely finished.

Years ago used domke. It looked cool but I scratched up equipment with it.
