    Strength:

Purchased this used camera as a backup to play Mini DV tapes for copying to disk. The description said that the camera did not record. That was not relevant. I just wanted redundant capability in case my original camcorder failed before I finished archiving all my tapes to disk. The playback image is comparable to the Canon unit that I backed up. I did not check other functions. I use the power supply so battery life is also irrelevant. Im using it for our Edgewood Kentucky Roofing Company and it works perfect!

    Weakness:

I havent tested other features yet but If i find something bad, i will update my review here.

    Strength:

The SONY DCR-TRV27 digital camcorder was a popular model back in the early 2000s, known for its compact sizes and advanced features such as night vision and image stabilization. While it may not be as relevant in today's market with the rise of smartphones and mirrorless cameras, it still holds a nostalgic value for many video enthusiasts. | www.concretepearland.com
