The GR-AX841U from JVC makes taking great home movies a pleasure. The camcorder is compact, lightweight and easy to handle. The choice of auto and pro-style recording modes, automatic picture stabilizer and high-resolution color viewfinder means the inexperienced user can let the camcorder do most of the work, while the advanced photographer can take full advantage of its many special features. Digital wipes and fades, 16x optical and four-component digital-signal processing adds up to superb pictures. It features 4-component digital signal processing with Luminance Noise Reduction, Horizontal Aperture Circuitry, Vertical Aperture Circuitry, Variable g Circuitry and Animation and Timelapse. Animation lets you shoot video a frame at a time to make drawings and objects "move" on the tape, while Timelapse automatically records at set intervals so you can catch rare scenes, like a flower blooming, on tape (SP mode only via optional remote control).
