well, it does it's job - but not much more (for 500 NIS - israeli shequel about 100USD). It's a nice cam for taking casual pictures. With a 64 MB Memory card I took about 200 Pictures. Since the auto-focus is not that good i recommend 2 pictures everytime from differen angles. nice camera for a beginner in the digital world...

Strength:

Nice picture quality

Weakness:

battery life quality of camera itself

This wouldnt be a bad camera if HP would just make one that works. My wife and I returned two of these cameras before we gave up and bought the Kodak DC3200. Our first camera died after about a month of use, the energizer titanium batteries HP recommends melted our battery door. Our second camera''s LCD screen quit working after about two months of use. The picture quality was great, when the camera worked. Also, when it did work, it even killed off rechargeable NiMH batteries rather quickly, dont even bother using regular ones. Save some time and headaches and go for the Kodak camera.
