No driver or software updates to support new systems using XP.

Good camera but now have upgraded system and cannot find a driver or software to support XP. Camera is useless if you can't download pictures. This is why I give a 3 star rating, otherwise great accessory.

Here is how to use it with XP. Install the software from minolta as usual. Then go to "services" under control panel (In Administrative Tools), find the "windows image aquisition" service, stop it and DISABLE it. then reboot. Notice that if you have a scanner you have to enable the service in order to make it work. then disable again to use the cam!

Lightweight, easy to cary and use.

You have to be using Windows 98, 98SE or Windows ME. THESE ARE THE ONLY SUPPORTED VERSIONS!!

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WIN XP!!! They don''t tell you this until after you purchase the product. If you want to use WIN XP, you will need to purchase a seperate compact flash reader. (Very inconvienent)

Terrible. They refuse to reply to my comments and concerns. They also say they don''t plan to ever offer the Win XP drivers for this product.
