I've had this camera for 4 years and I never considered it a very good camera nor a very bad camera...rather an ordinary camera with fairly good results in photography.
My brother had a similar camera that gave up on him last year...the lens simply refused to retract! After returning it for reoairs in a camara repair shop, was told that there was nothing to be done to repair it! So he scraspped it!

Now mine, has the same problem now...and it showed signs of failure before by some kind of "short-circuits" in the rear panel ?

So I will also discard mine since it is not repairable...
