    Strength:

Light, easy to use - point 'n shoot !
    Automatic or Manual modes
    Optical viewfinder
5.3 MP resolution, for great 4x6 prints
    Pentax lens - 3 x digital, 7 x optical (21x total zoom)
    Built in flash unit
Uses 2 inexpesive, rechargeable AA batteries.
    SD Memory Card storage
Video clip capability - if needed
Software with easy to use features.

    Weakness:

Battery consumption excessive when using 'live view' in 1.5" lcd.
Must carry a spare set of batteries so you won't miss any shots,
so you need a quick charge potable battery charging unit.
Dock and connecting cables just clutter computer/desk area.
This camera should come with a carrying case included !

This HP 935 was my 2nd HP camera that served as an introduction to digital photography - the first being an HP 735, so I chose a camera that was fairly basic, and easy to operate. Just point 'n shoot ! I was quite satisfied with the results obtained with my digital image maker, but somewhat dishartened to learn it was no longer offered for sale by HP, and rendered 'obsolete' on thier website, a scant 6 months after I purchased it !
I considered trading up to the HP 945 model that had a much better lens with more optical zoom, but held off till the 'R' series cameras were introduced !
I only had 1 problem with the camera, when the lens refused to extend when the camera was turned on. This problem was repaired under warranty by HP, in a timely fashion, with no hassels !
Although I finally ended up purchasing an HP R707 model (to take advantage of a 1 year 1/2 back trade in offer from the camera retailer), I was most satisfied with the performance of my HP 935 digital camera !

    Customer Service

    Excelent !
The Pentax lens refused to open when camera was turned on.
(. . . even after resetting the camera with the reset button per camera manual )
Took it back to the dealer, who had it repaired by HP, under warranty
(no charge) in less than 2 weeks!
