Strength:

I like the 10X optical Zoom. It is comfortable to hold for short periods of time. There are available lenses (i.e., wide angle, telephoto, and filters..). You have the option of using the automactic settings or if you are use to 35mm cameras, you have the option of making fine adjustments. I like the preset settings.

Weakness:

When using the wide angle lens, you cannot use the camera flash and must utilize an external flash which there is no foot for attaching and must use an extension arm. When using the camera for video, there is a clicking sound in the background which can be very annoying when taking video where there isn't much background sound. While in video mode, the camera tends to have trouble keeping focus on subject(s) if not on a tripod. I have difficulty with focusing in low lighting while taking still photos.

I have now owned this model for approx 2 years. I also own the wide angle photo lens too. I am basically happy with the photos that this model produces. I have owned serveral digital camera in the last 8 years and this one seems to be the best so far.

Customer Service

Haven't brought it in for any service, though I probably should for the clicking noise I get while taking video. Unfortunately, I can't live without my camera for a day.
