Strength:

High ISO performance
Great intelligent flash system
Powerful flash
Build quality
Image Quality
Reasonable megapixel count (6.3)
Price
Fast start-up,
Virtually no shutter lag
Fairly fast lens at widest setting for its class

Weakness:

No external battery charger (charge in-camera only)
Uses XD Cards
Decidedly unsexy looking
No image stabilization - relies on fast shutter speed/high ISO
Some cite purple fringing - but I haven't noticed this.

In short, this camera is a gem. It's overall a standard issue point and shooter on the surface but Fuji's proprietary "Super CCD" enables unparalleled/usable shooting in low light up to ISO 2000. Although this camera is old (2006-07) by digicam standards, no new digital camera tops this one (or its siblings - F10, F11, F30, F31) to this day for high ISO capabilities in a compact digital point and shoot Nice colors, sharp images, solid build quality and it was value-priced when it was new. This is reflected in the used price. The aforementioned line
