Strength:

Great image stabilization. Fast lens. Excellent build quality.

Weakness:

Menus a little confusing for a Canon native.

I had been looking at the LX-5 and the G12 before photo_john on Twitter suggested I consider this camera (which I had not heard of). Very glad he did. Before buying I did some test shots in store comparing it to the LX-5 and was amazed at the difference in quality between the two cameras when I got the images into Aperture. The 1.8 lens is fast and super sharp (it out resolves the 10 M sensor, I think. Get image stabilization and build quality. So far really enjoying shooting with it. Perfect street photog camera. Will get the EVF for it soon.

Strength:

Superb optical quality with F/1.8 aperture of zoom focal length from 28mm to 112mm does fit for everyone. The special filter effect is helpful in expression to some extent.

Weakness:

None

Although I have already owned an E-PL2, the excellent optical quality and the f/1.8 aperture of the zoom lens made my eyes wide open again.
Thin and compact, simple control with guide in menu is a merit of point-and-shoot digital camera. A nice dc for travel and daily usage!
