Strength:

Waterproofing was tight. Dustproofing also very good. Easy to use for the most part with lots of options and flexibility. Lots of modes to adjust for creativity and, in general takes good pictures for a P&S. Size is perfect for a pouch on my Camelbak shoulder strap for easy access. Quick start up.

Weakness:

Not as rugged as claimed, which is, in the end, the whole purpose for this camera.

Cracked the glass lens cover when it hit a round metal pole as it swing from a wrist on the strap (~4"). Not an intentional swing, just natural swinging movement. Repair is $161 (one quote) and from Panasonic, they'll only replace it with a rebuilt model for $180 something. I don't know if it's the lens placement in the corner or just a freak accident, but it does make me question the ruggedness of these cameras and its replacement will likely not be a TS-4.
