Canon EOS-10S 35mm SLRs

DESCRIPTION

The first EOS camera with multiple autofocus sensors and selected sensor frame flash with red light . The camera also provides a Mirror Lock up feature, which has been omiited in many of the EOS series body. A new body design with much more rounded contours than the original EOS cameras, and replaced the buttons on the left top of the camera with a dial. It was also the first Canon camera to use a sprocketless film drive.

Strength:

One of the top early 90s consumer-grade Canon AF bodies, the 10s was noted for its three AF sensors and very speedy and accurate autofocus. This camera has excellent handling. The body and controls feel more solid and less "klunky" than some of the newer AF film bodies (purely subjective). This camera morphed into the A2 series. Exposure accuracy is first rate.

Weakness:

Will lose speed or aperture settings and revert to default in Av or Tv if you switch to another mode and then switch back.

Except for the silly lack of settings memory in Av or Tv, a nearly perfect AF film body.
