Konica Minolta Maxxum 7/Dynax 7 35mm SLRs

Konica Minolta Maxxum 7/Dynax 7 35mm SLRs

DESCRIPTION

The Dynax 7 offers a superb balance of state-of-the-art technology and excellent controllability as a photographic tool. This new SLR accomplishes the features that require conflicting technologies at times; first-rate autofocus vs. highly controllable manual focus, sophistication of user interface vs. familiarity of control style, and superior performance vs. compact design.

Strength:

LCD screen
All controls fall easily to hand
huge number of features
With VC7 grip attached, fits my hands perfectly

Weakness:

None
Would be nice to have a higher fps for sports photography. Wish Minolta lenses had image stabilisation like Canon

This cameras suits beginners to pros alike. Used to use an HTsi, but that was lacking in many areas. Not wanting to dispose of my investment in Minolta lenses, went for the 7. My wedding photographer (who uses Nikon) was extremely impressed by its features and quality of photos. Bottom line: Great camera
BTW the $1000 I paid for it included the VC7 grip and HS5600 flash
