    Strength:

TTL, Metal body, light weight, easy to use.

    Weakness:

The mirror bang is loud when you click the shutter.

I found the FG to be an excellent camera for a beginner. Most likely, if you turn out enjoying photography you will most likely stick with nikon. Now you can use your nikon FG as a back-up, a great Back-up camera that won''t break your wallet. Stronger than most cameras due to metal body. Buy one and enjoy the simplicity of photography.
