Strength:
Strengths: Everything you need to get started in film photography is available with this camera. Great construction (e.g., rugged and durable), easy to use (compose, set aperture and shutter speed, check the meter, and shoot!), great selection of high quality lenses available, No menus to sift through, no extra buttons to hold down with one hand while turning on or adjusting the camera with the other, just a straightforward, logical and high quality camera to use! Weakness:
Weaknesses:batteries for operating the meter are no longer made, so you have to find a replacement battery that works sufficiently well or use another means of setting the cameras controls for the correct exposure. Purchased: New

Basics, Basics, Basics!!!
Weakness:
The camera had a crazy way of choosing your shutter speed. I'm not sure I ever liked that. A true classic in it's time. A bottom line basic mechanical camera. One that I still have and in Mint+ condition. I still use this every now and then. One of my favorites. Also loved and had the Nikkormat FT3. Another classic. Should have never sold that one! Anyway, I have a special place when it comes to Nikkormat's. Customer Service None Needed. |
