Strength:

This camera is great. Good quality 50mm lense. Sharp pics. Excellent erganomics. Very cheap nowdays -especially if you look around.

Better than the MZ-5 cause it doesn't matter if you spill beer on it, smash it against a rock or leave it on the beach unattented. The no stress camera.

Get the black one - it's the coolest.

Weakness:

Meter has gone faulty.

Go Bananas!

Customer Service

repair shops can fix some probs - but only simple faults. These cameras are everywhere - so just replace if faulty.

Strength:

Durability and light weight. Good sharp and moderately priced lenses.

Weakness:

fastest shutter only 1/2000

I bought this Camera used to take with me on a rafting trip in Alaska. Our raft flipped when it hit a tree. I had to swim for it with the Camera around my neck. When I got it home I took it to the Camera shop. There was'nt to much they could do. Charged me nothing. Upshot is, that was 8 years ago and the Camera still works fine!.

Strength:

It is a simple camera that has a good Aperature Priority mode and fits new and old lenses

Weakness:

The only problem I had was with an automatic winder that attaches to the bottom, the clip that holds the battery compartment closed broke twice, but that is an extra part that is optional

Great camera, easy to use

Strength:

Great manual camera. I use it on aperture priority alot, but it can be used fully manual as well.

Weakness:

No depth of field preview (I don't mind the buttons for the shutter speed, but I've spoken to others who do).

A great camera with just enough automation to be helpful, without trying to completely take over. I've used it for sports, landscapes, people, flowers, lots of stuff.

Customer Service

Not an issue, never used it.

Strength:

Small, quiet, light and easy to handle. Film loading is foolproof

Weakness:

Once I began using it a lot, the mirror would jam. $80 later, it works great. The shutter speed buttons take a bit of getting used to when you are in manual mode. Only has one shutter speed (1/125) when the battery goes.

Since this was my first SLR, I did not realize how compact it was until I began using a K-1000. I quickly switched back to my old standby. A great camera for the used price these days. I'll probably use it until I can afford an M6.

Love This Camera, The 50mm is good for all purpose use, but I mostly use my Robikon 35-200 Macro w/ Hoya Filter. The pictures this camera takes are flawless and very forgiving

Weakness:

Strength:

well built, solid. Bought it new, has given me no trouble at all. Battery door on the winder broke, but they all seem to do that. Clear viewfinder.

Weakness:

none. I don't like auto everything cameras.

I like it. Good solid camera, excellent factory lenses, both the f2 and f1.4 50mm

Customer Service
