Strength:

*Easy to use shutter speed dial (much like the venerable Pentax MX I used previously)
*Built in flash convenient and useful
*Ability to use a host of lenses...old manual focus to state of the art auto focus models
*METAL lens mount (others from this era had plastic that could break)
*Battery grip FG makes it a convenient camera to use with AA batteries
*Fairly rugged and durable...mine has traveled all over with me

Weakness:

*Lack of dof preview (ZX-5n added this feature)
*No mirror lockup (although I have yet to need this)
*Spring in flash gives out over time...although mine took years of rough use to give out
*Not really anything else...I've thoroughly enjoyed this camera over the last 12 years!

Great camera even in the digital age we are living in! It is very intuitive to use with the shutter speed dial at the upper right...was a seamless transition from my old beater MX which had spent nearly 20 years of steady use with me.
