Strength:

rock hard. Travelled god knows how many places, festivels, solid. Clear, focusing brilliant.

Weakness:

Ergonomics.

It was a gift when I started uni many years ago. I have developed many memories using this friend. Its allmost indestructible. My young son is learning the basics before digital robs him of the idea of hard..bless himmmm

Similar Products Used:

Most moder cameras are now digital, and although I admit I do no now use digital, I still (believe it or not) use my vivitar to phto my kids. I use old B/W 35mm and, well, its just makes life just seem more tangible. Take a chance. If you can, grab an old decrepid camera, take some snaps of the people you love and enjoy.

Strength:

Very low price, easy to use, accept pentax kmout lens, good image, I think that keep the total control of all manual functions gives a better experience.

Weakness:

no depth of field preview, no option for motor drive,

I don´t speak english perfectly, but I´ll do my best.
I bougth this camera with a 28-70 zoom lens, and I never expect to get an excellent image quality, but It does, in outdoors gives a great sharp image, and now I´m using it for product photography, with two morris slaves, its umbrellas (a very low price studio ligthing), and kodak professinal film elitechrome, I got surprised with the results, the image is clear, fully detailed, I´ll try to post a pair of sample photos.
