Model Reviewed: XV-2

Strength:

Purchased in near perfect condition for a low price. Simple, small, and easy to use.

Weakness:

Really wish there was a way to set both the shutter speed and the aperture manually. With aperture priority the camera always decides shutter speed, and the only way to over or underexpose is to fool the camera by changing the ISO of the film.

I like that this camera is so small, and it uses the Pentax K-mount which has proven common enough to find plenty of lens options. I just wish there was a way to manually set both the ss and the aperture.

Strength:

1) Cannot find any
except it has a wide
choice of cheap lens

Weakness:

2) Basically nothing is
worth talking about

If you really want to own a SLR camera, look else where, even a 2nd hand used camera from the 70s will beat this camera flat, if you don't mind. No idea how much it cost now, but it really does not worth any consideration.
