Strength:

* mid-roll film change * date and time stamp * roll and/or title message stamp

Weakness:

* limited to roll and/or title message stamp * defaults to 4x7 pictures when you initally turn it on

I purchased this camera mainly for the size and panoramic feature. However, the option to switch from C (classic-4x6), H (group-HDTV-4x7), or P (panoramic-4x11.5) formats at anytime is great. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. The features are very simple, but this camera packs a lot into its small size. This camera does not have a red-eye setting due to the placement of the flash (incorporated into the flip cover). The "flash fill" feature works well. I've used it sucessfully at sunrise and sunset when the lighting is behind the subject. The self-timer has a delay of 10 seconds. Loading and unloading the film cassette couldn't be easier. You can also view the film speed on the display at a few presses of a button. There are onscreen messages on the LCD display that tell you "FLASH NOT READY" or "MOVE BACK". The frame counter indicates how many exposures you have left. The date & time imprinting allows you to choose several formats for the date (mm/dd/yy, dd/mm/yy, yy/mm/dd) and time (12 or 24 hour). The nice thing is that it is imprinted on the back of the print instead of the front of the print. There are two title options: roll and/or print. There are 30 preset titles to choose from. The roll title comes in handy when getting the index print. One thing to keep in mind if you are using the same title for both roll and print (e.g. "Vacation"), then both titles appear on the back of the print (e.g. "Vacation", "Vacation"), which can make it seem redundant. The mid-roll change (MRC) feature is an added bonus. This allows you to switch film cassettes, even if you haven't exposed the entire roll. You can change rolls from color to black & white or if you designate one roll for family and another for friends. There is a nice safety feature in which the film door locks, so you can't open it until the entire roll has rewound (either by using all exposures or using the mid-roll feature). Overall, this is a great little camera if you want something small, but dependable to carry around.
