Strength:

Sharp pictures!
Light weight and easy to use.

Weakness:

Small view finder, but so do all the rest of this style of camera.

First let it be known that I have gotten great telephoto shots and did not notice any lens flare.

I almost didn't buy the camera due to the bad reviews here. I went so far as to buy it at a store that would be easy to return just in case. And took an extended warrany for $20 buck to boot.

I have only taken 48 pictures but almost all have been great. Note that I use the camera to take photos of my child and family primarily but am picky about clarity.

A very nice feature that I wasn't even looking for is the cameras ability to use fill flash on auto mode. Before purchase, I made a big deal about the ease of setting the auto vs auto red eye vs the fill flash mode.

Turns out the camera will recognize low light to the point that I have never needed to use the fill. It even fills when there is a strong back light situation, such as sun light coming in through french doors while taking an indoor shot with those doors in the back ground. All that effort on ease of use and I end up just "pointing and shooting". My wife still hasn't let me explain the camera to her...and can use it just fine!!!

Another feature I like is that the camera will remember either "auto mode" or "auto with red eye mode", even when you turn it off and back on. My first roll had no red eyes in just auto mode. But the second roll had 50% red eyes?? Guess I'll try the auto red eye mode with adults. Kids... you'll loose the moment in the 2-2 1/2 seconds it takes to fire a couple three pre-flashes. ( as they all do)
Except for the small view finder I have been very happy so far. Considering the other reviews...Minolta...send me a roll of film... I've already got a camera. (G)
