Strength:

High optical quality and price (very cheap now)

Weakness:

None.

This was (or is) a great lens for enlarging medium format negatives. It produces a very flat field and corrected projection when enlarging.
It's secondary use is for close up photography mounted on any bellows that accepts a Leica thread. Most bellows came with that adapter, I use mine with my Nikon PB6 bellows and FX DSLR. On the bellows it will focus from infinity to roughly an inch.
It's perfect for coins and jewelry.
Now that very few people are doing darkroom work these lines can be found for less than $50 in like new condition.
