DESCRIPTION

The HP Secure Font Box can be used to provide barcodes, typefaces, signatures, or logos. It is a secure font device with removable fonts - independent of printer type. The HP Secure Font Box allows the card containing the fonts to be physically removed and stored in a secure location. This device provides local (at the printer) font storage for PCL language printers without SIMM or DIMM slots. Performance is increased because resources are loaded at the printer level, not over the network.
