I bought this card reader because it took way to much time and hassle downloading photos/videos from camera to computer via USB. (AC adapters, cords, cables, etc.).

So far, I have been extremely pleased with this reader’s performance. Very fast downloads are now possible, and plugging in cables is no longer needed. Also, I can fill up an SD card, stick it in the reader and go shoot some more with a spare card. The camera no longer has to be tethered to a computer.

The card reader also functions like a flash drive, just buy some memory and swap it when needed. In this fashion, it can even be plugged into a digital picture frame.
