Like mentioned by someone else, works GREAT when it's working !!!

Needs alot of power to work.... most (maybe all) laptops cannot drive enough
power to make it work properly!

Does not work if PC or Laptop does not 'source' enough power to this adapter. If there is enough power, this puppy works excellent (can download a 8GB CF memory card in about 20minutes veruse several hours using a USB2.0 CF
card reader). When it does not work, such as in nearly ALL laptops using either
the small 1394 connector or using a PCMCIA 1394 bus card adapter, it won't work.
It may work if an extenal 5v power source is connected to the connector on this
CF reader. Haven't tried this... if you do want to try this, note the polarity of the
plug (center pin is Negative and the outer sleeve is Positive ......... backwards from most power connectors).

None.... even their website is DEAD... nothing works on it! Company must be
out of business !
