Weakness:

Poor tech support
will not accomodate 2 1/4 materials.

I bought the Epson V750 after what I thought was an extensive research on the internet. All reviews were sterling. No one mentioned that the SilverFast Epson ships is the old 32bit. My Dell computer has the 64 bit Vista home p;remium op.system. Epson techs will not even discuss it with you. SilverFast reps will at least talk to you about saying they may be coming out with a 64 bit edition soon. Epson touts one of the values of buying the V750 was the bundled software.
I have a large file of Hassalblad format postives and negatives. Guess what. The medium film holder and the software on the scanner will not acomadate 2 1/4. Maybe 750 is not too much to pay. But before you buy it you miight want to ask Epson a lot more questions.
